It's a Boy!!

Just had to share:

We found out yesterday that our little one due in August is going to be a boy! What makes this so surprising is that our last 5 babies have all been girls. We didn't think that we could do boys anymore! LOL

Now for a boy's name . . . .

    Our other children's names are: Aliisa (pronounced uh-leesa), Isaac, Zachary, Aleksandra, Emmelia (prounced like Amelia), Grace, Elsie and Anja (pronounced like Anya).

    Looks like you like traditional names, but with a twist. The first name that leaps to mind is Abraham. Great name, but not super common. Or there is always, Sebastian, Malachi, Graham, etc. Of course, I am partial to Caleb because it is our sons name Smile. I LOVE baby names! The possibilities are so endless!

    Congratulations! I have 4 and would love more, we are looking into Guatamalan adoptions in the next 3 to 4 years - I love the names of your other children and suggest Ezekial (goes well with your others) I have an Ethan and an Andrew but would have opted for less common names had DH been open. If we get a daughter from Guatamala I love the name Gisela (pronounced Gee-zela) after my grandma. Anyhow, congrats!

    Congratulations from the mom of Aimee Alison, Emily Ayn, and Kathleen Amelia. The name we had picked our for our nonexistant son was Samuel Barrett.

    My niece has an Alexsei and my other niece just had a Noah, then there is Jayden that Katie babysits 3 days a week when she is not in college for a friend...Then there is Mason, Emily's boyfriend's 3 year old nephew.

    Congrats...how about Joel (pronounced Hoel), I lobbied hard for this name for our baby boy due in July but since there are already three in DH's family he said no.

    Congratulations! For me, picking girls' names was easier, but we didn't have a girl! Some interesting ones with historical appeal: Simon, Leander, Ezra, Rufus, Chester, Jerome, Kester...

    Wonderful! When we were married I told my husband that we were going to have 100 children and name them after the counties in our state! Wink But seriously, if you like sirnames used as first names and don't think you have to be actually naming the child after a person you actually know or admire with that name, check out the county names in your state! Madison, for example has been a popular name for years now, and is also a common county name.

    My favorite right now is Luka or other derivatives of Luke, like Lucas. I know a set of wonderful twins named Ezekial and Elias and they go by Zeke and Eli. No one at school has names like them, but their friends love that they have unique names. So do they, so my vote is Ezekial Elias. Of course, I'm also partial to Tobias, my son's middle name and what I refer to him by here on the blogs. I also like Marcus and the old tried and true Nikolas.

    Congratulations on your pregnancy and may your son be healthy and strong no matter what you call him.

    And if it turns out the ultrasound is wrong, might I suggest Tessa Nichole for a girl.
