In a slump . . . .

June 7th, 2007 at 03:57 pm

I'm tired of watching/worrying about every bite I eat. I'm tired of watching/worrying about every dime I spend. Grrh! LOL I guess I'm in a mood today. Call it pregnancy hormones! My poor family. Smile

I want to eat what I want to eat and not worry so much about what the scale says. I have things I need to sell on eBay, yet am having the hardest time doing it.

How do you all get over times like this???

Look at my overall financial picture, that usually does it for me. Ha Ha!

Seriously take a day off..make yourself and family a special dessert tonight. Put your feet up, read a book to the younger kids or heck, pop in a video and take time for yourself. It's okay!

Whenever I am feeling really "slumpish" I try to do something creative (like making up new words). Seriously, I find that doing creative things that I enjoy like sewing, scrapbooking etc. gets me feeling re-energized and in a much better frame of mind.

I get like this sometimes too. Don't beat yourself up over it. Just relax, plop on the couch and do as you please for a day or two. I work, have a child, and am married, so I know how all those things pile up. Usually when i'm in one of my moods, i just tell the fam after coming home from work to "lets just all be quite for a little while, i don't want to do anything but sit here and stare at the tv". LOL, and it usually works. Oh and go eat what you really want once in a while.

I am right there with you! I don't want to diet any more. I am completely unmotivated to list my stuff on ebay. And I'm tired of fighting debt. I guess the only thing that helps me is to know that I will be motivated again - just not right now and I can't beat myself up about that. Other than finding something that WILL motivate me... I just wait for the feelings to pass!
